New Years Day 2018 - with the cold weather affecting the camera we have a few shots of the New Years day steam up which once agin brought out locos on all gauges.
Pacific Day 2017 - held again in 2017 by popular demand we see some old faces and also some new visitors to Ruddington.
Christmas 2016 - this event has evolved into a friends steam up with model engineers coming from far and wide to run their engines before Christmas. This You Tube video gives a great flavour of the day.
Pacific Day 2016 - this event continues to be popular with loco owners bringing friends to Nottingham from across the country.
IMLEC 2015 - Nottingham SMEE once again hosted the IMLEC competition, this time having a little more advanced warning than 2012 when the society stepped in to help at short notice.
Pacific Day 2015 - the 2015 Pacific Day was a great success with examples of this type of loco in every gauge at Ruddington.
Sweet Pea Rally - the 2013 Sweet Pea Rally attracted a large
number of locos from across the country. This relatively simple engine is intended to provide a loco that is easy to
build and run but many engineers use it as a basis for their own imaginative designs and as can be seen from the photos
some of these bear little resemblance to the original.
Closing the Gap Gala - the Bank Holiday weekend in May saw the
first large gala on the Ruddington site to raise money for the "Closing the Gap" fund and for the new build "Betton
Members Day - the first Members Day of the season in March 2013

IMLEC - The 2012 International Model Locomotive Efficiency Competition was hosted by
NSMEE. With 28 entries it became a 3 day event with the British weather being particularly unkind for the Friday afternoon
session. Despite this the weekend was a great success with a wide range of visiting locomotives and some spirited running
arising from the friendly (but, never-the-less, serious) competition.
Traction Engine Rally - At the end of June the Members Rally included
a bevy of traction engines, some of them taking part in the usual road run to Ruddington village and round the
Country Park which proved very popular.
DUCHESS DAY - On 2 June 2012 NSMEE held the second "Duchess Day"
following the success of the inaugural event in 2011.
